What inspired you to start this business?

I founded my trademark law practice driven by a desire for a better work-life balance and to embrace a quieter life in the country. This move allowed me to not only continue my passion for serving clients all over the world, but also to do so in a way that aligns with my personal values and pace of life. Offering services to faith-based organizations and businesses naturally fits with my personal ethos, enabling me to support communities with shared values.

How does your faith shape your work?

My Catholic faith is fundamental to how I operate my trademark law practice. It guides me in conducting my business with honesty, integrity, and a deep sense of duty to my clients and community. These principles are not just personal beliefs but are integrated into every aspect of my professional service. I emphasize fairness and ethical practice, ensuring that my actions reflect the values of stewardship and respect for all. Moreover, my faith inspires me to serve not only those who can afford legal services but also to provide guidance and assistance to those in need, reflecting the Catholic commitment to charity and justice. What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

I die the king's faithful servant, and God's first. St. Thomas More As a fellow lawyer, my favorite saint is of course, St. Thomas More, who is not only a model of integrity and moral courage, but also known for his wit and compassion. In my office, I keep a tile depicting St. Thomas More, serving as a daily reminder of the virtues I strive to embody. More’s life was marked by his alleged hilarious sense of humor and his profound empathy for the less fortunate, traits that made his dedication to justice even more impactful. His ability to maintain a light heart amid serious affairs and his generous spirit towards those in need resonate deeply with me, echoing my own approach to life and law. St. Thomas More’s example inspires me to conduct my legal practice with a balance of earnestness and levity, ensuring that while I’m steadfast in protecting my clients' rights, I also support and uplift my clients.
