Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over ten years of experience in the field and a Professional Coach specializing in women's issues, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, PTSD, compulsive eating, trauma, among others. I have worked successfully helping clients to address a wide variety of life's challenges including grief, divorce, interpersonal relationships, self esteem issues, substance use, codependency, spirituality, trauma, and anger issues. My therapeutic style is empathetic, encouraging, person centered, yet grounded by a cognitive behavioral approach. Working as a team, we will develop your own strength based solutions "building from the good" using your own strengths as tools to overcome weaknesses and empower you to make healthy choices leading to a more fulfilling life. I believe that my unique professional background as a Professional Coach and LMHC give me the tools to assist you to uncover and utilize your strengths, to heal the past and move forward to the life you deserve. I offer counseling from a Faith based perspective for clients seeking this approach. Sessions can be conducted in Spanish if you prefer.

What inspired you to start this business?

I started my career in the mental health field because I believe that the person does not have to struggle alone; I like to see long lasting changes in people, and I would like the opportunity to contribute to the happiness of my clients. It is a way to give back to my community in a meaningful way.

How does your faith shape your work?

I believe that faith and mental health go hand in hand; when both work together it has a potentiated effect for the good of the human person. Our faith teaches us that God wants the person to be whole, healthy, and happy, and I love to see the healing power of God and the restoration of the human person. I believe I can be an instrument of God's love, healing and compassion, using my formation as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a practicing Catholic.

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over ten years of experience, I like to assist clients to feel heard, capable, empowered, and supported; using the God given virtues to counteract the flaws and move forward in life. I have worked successfully helping clients to address a wide variety of issues, including, grief, self esteem issues, codependency, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, interpersonal relations conflicts, anger issues among others.
