We offer Primary & Urgent care plus Men’s health, Women’s health, Restorative Fertility, Natural Family Planning and IV therapy all under one roof. Summit Direct Care is a family-owned and operated direct primary care practice. Dr. John and Diana - a husband and wife team - found the traditional medical establishment incompatible with the level and quality of care they wanted to deliver to patients. Following the birth of their fourth child, they decided it was time to combine their skills and craft a better healthcare experience with Summit DPC. They wanted to pursue a more purpose-driven, faith based path and they felt this was their calling. Our strategy is to first understand your goals, medical history and family history. We will then work with you to achieve these goals by developing a detailed and personalize plan to enhance your health. Our approach combines lifestyle medicine, functional medicine and modern allopathic medicine. We help you address the underlying cause of chronic disease, prevent disease and achieve your goals. With a strong doctor-patient relationship and maximal access, we can stay on top of disease prevention, improve chronic disease and treat acute illness quicker. In the long run, we are confident your health will improve, plus you will save money and time.

MEET THE OWNER

What inspired you to start this business?

We were called to start this practice. John and Diana were both put in positions where they couldn't ignore the call. It suddenly felt riskier to continue in the secular world than to leave everything they've ever known and go all in on a better and more purposeful life serving their community. They wanted to build a honest, ethical and better solution for the Christian community. They wanted to craft a safe haven for those that wanted a partner in the healthcare for their family, an advocate and a resource.

How does your faith shape your work?

Our practice is faith-based. Our member agreement states our commitment to being pro-life. We also run any treatment in question by the National Catholic Bioethics Center. This entire business has been a leap of faith. We pray on every business decision and we pray for our patients daily.

What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

Saint Michael the Archangel, Litany of Trust, 2 Corinthians 5:7 "For we walk by faith, not by sight"

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

Summit Direct Care is a membership based medical practice. We're reviving the old fashioned family medicine doctor with the conveniences of modern technology. We cut out the barriers and the bureaucracy and give patients direct access to the doctor and nurse practitioner. A lot of patients today are struggling with anxiety. A major benefit of our practice is that they now have a trusted resource that they can go to for honest medical advice without being nickel and dimed. Our only source of revenue is our patient membership fees. We aren't bought out by Big Pharma or the Insurance companies.
