ABOUT THE BUSINESS
MEET THE OWNER
What inspired you to start this business?
The Four Fs: faith, family, friends, and finances. When everything fell apart, those four things carried me through. And because I was debt-free, my finances weren't dragging me down, but instead was solid ground under my feet. That's what let me stand up for what was right when others couldn't afford to. Debt keeps people quiet. Being free of it let me speak. That's why I do this. I want other people standing on that same ground, so when their moment comes, they can stand up too.
How does your faith shape your work?
My faith is the foundation of this work. We pray together, not just talk numbers. Members can plug into prayer groups, so you're never fighting your battle alone. And the money side runs through the same lens. I use what I call the Valiant Virtue Method. We look at your spending through Catholic teaching, rather than just playing a numbers game. Where's your money actually going, and does it line up with your values and how God's asking you to steward what you've been given? That question changes everything. It turns budgeting from a chore into something that resonates with your call to sainthood. Money isn't separate from your faith. How you handle it is part of how you live it out.
What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?
Matthew 6:25-34 Where Christ tells us to consider the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. They don't sow or store up, and God provides for them anyway. How much more will He provide for us? That one's stayed with me. So much financial fear comes from trying to white-knuckle tomorrow. But if we trust in God's provision and steward His blessings the way we're called to, there's nothing to fear about what's ahead. Do the work, be a good steward, and let tomorrow's worries wait for tomorrow.
What's one thing you'd like customers to know?
No judgment here. I've been doing this for years and I've seen far worse than whatever you're sitting on. Trust me, you're not going to shock me. Wherever you're starting from, we can get out of this. And I'll build you a plan that actually fits your budget, not one that adds another bill to it.
DEVOTIONAL
What is your favorite devotional and what fruits have bore from it?
The Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary It's part of my consecration to the Brown Scapular. Morning and evening, it gives me a set time to turn to Our Lady and ask for her intercession. The fruit of it is trust. Mary's fiat; her "let it be done to me" is the model. She said yes to God's plan without knowing where it led. Praying the Little Office day after day has helped me surrender to God's plan for my own life the same way, and it's shaped how I walk with my clients. I do the work faithfully and leave the rest in God's hands, for them and for me.
