What inspired you to start this business?

Ever since my experience in the mountains in the 8th grade, I have felt called to earn a living as a photographer. I chose commercial work initially, but after 24 years, I need to pursue my fine art photography more seriously.

How does your faith shape your work?

My Catholic faith has always played a huge role in my business. I'm fair and kind with all of my clientele. In addition, I always act with honesty and integrity, even if I were to suffer financially. My mission statement is from 2 Thess. 3:13 "Never Grow Weary of Doing What is Right."

What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

Too many saints to name, but I love St. John the Apostle. My favorite portion of the Bible is John 6, specifically John 6:51-55. The Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Rosary.

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

I'm a professional architectural and fine art photographer. I have been in business for 24 years. I help my commercial clients win awards and new clients by photographing their projects and producing videos. My art buyers enjoy my fine art photography because my work is contemplative, helping them have something beautiful and calming in their homes. A buyer of my art recently moved to a more conservative state. While searching for artwork to decorate her new home, she found photos of the Smoky Mountains that matched the look she was after and came from a fellow believer. Through the course of chatting with her, it was revealed that her mother-in-law was suffering from cancer, and the piece she ordered from me helped her find calm.
