What inspired you to start this business?

The inspiration to start Verso l'alto Crafts came from our love of the rosary and also from crafting beautiful things with our hands to share with others.

How does your faith shape your work?

"Our Catholic faith profoundly influences every aspect of our business operations. We design products with the hope of bringing others closer to Jesus and pray for the future buyer's inspiration when crafting our rosary models and other creations. As we make each rosary, we ask our customers how we can pray for their intentions. Additionally, we strive to support other small businesses, particularly Catholic ones, whenever possible."

What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

Our favorite Saints and holy men and women include the Blessed Mother Mary, St Joseph, St John Paul the Great, St Therese Of Lisieux, St Maximilian Kolbe, St Michael, St Peter, Venerable Fulton Sheen, and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati (whom our shop is dedicated to and gets its name from) "Verso l'alto," an Italian phrase meaning "To the heights," was inscribed by Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati on a photograph of himself climbing in the mountains. This brief expression encapsulates Frassati's philosophy of life, serving as a call to orient one’s life toward God and strive upwards towards holiness.

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

Our Catholic rosary and crafts business is dedicated to helping our clients deepen their faith life through high-quality, handcrafted rosaries and religious items. One of our customers sent us a heartfelt message, expressing gratitude for the beautiful rosary they received and for introducing them to a new Saint, after whom the rosary model was named. They shared that they had never heard of this Saint before but were inspired to learn more after reading the description and story provided in the listing. This made us so overjoyed to hear and is why we do what we do.
