ABOUT THE BUSINESS
MEET THE OWNER
What inspired you to start this business?
In 2016 I met a business owner who got ripped off.(although he didn't want to admit.) He paid a "marketing agency" $20k for this new website. The design was lifeless. The content was riddled with jargon and misspellings. The site looked like a high-school intern had overseen the architecture. I hear stories like this all the time. There are far too many unqualified people building websites and taking the hard earned money of people just starting out. It’s not right. I started Skymouse Studios because business owners deserve better!
How does your faith shape your work?
The website industry is full of charlatans who use big words to confuse people who don't have much technical knowledge. It's important to us to do things the right way and to be honest with our clients. We don't want to sell websites to anyone who is not a good fit. We also want to do things the right way, the first time to prevent any problems in the future. Any time a client is unhappy with our work we offer a full refund.
What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?
St. Padre Pio is my favorite Saint, Divine Intimacy is a wonderful devotional that every Catholic should own!
What's one thing you'd like customers to know?
The biggest challenge for many business owners is narrowing down their services or describing their offering in a way that reaches their customers—especially on a website. Oftentimes things end up wordy or confusing. We help business owners build and manage simple, professional websites that communicate with clarity. No fluff. No smoke and mirrors, just a great website that works like it should. I love helping small businesses get off the ground. Many of my clients over the years are just getting started. It's so rewording when they launch their site for the first time. Things start to feel real for them. For many of them, websites are an area of tension and stress. It's so nice to handle all of these things and hear the relief in their voice as they learn everything has been taken care of.
