What inspired you to start this business?

I have always been big on physical exercise, and I weight lifted ever since college. I have always wanted athletic wear that reflected Catholic faith or traditions. Lots of big brands I had found previously were just general Christian brands or limited and lacking Catholic imagery. I have had the thought to create my own on my mind for a while, and recently, I felt like God was telling me it was time. I prayed a lot on a name and message, and I believe the Blessed Virgin inspired me to create the brand to promote the greater glory of God. Hence our name and mission being rooted in the phrase “Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.”

How does your faith shape your work?

Our Catholic faith is the cornerstone of AMDG Apparel and influences every aspect of how we operate. From the design of our products to the way we interact with customers, our faith guides us to uphold values like integrity, excellence, and service. We strive to create apparel that not only reflects Catholic tradition, but also inspires others to live their faith boldly in every area of life.

What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

My favorite saint is my patron, St. Benedict of Nursia. Favorite devotion is the Holy Rosary. My favorite Bible verse is Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and steadfast; have no fear or dread of them, for it is the LORD, your God, who marches with you; He will never fail you or forsake you.

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

We are a Catholic athletic apparel that strives to glorify God in all that we do. We provide high quality athletic apparel for Catholics looking for workout gear compatible with their faith. Our aim is to help others realize that you can transform every aspect of your life, especially your workouts, into something that can glorify God. One customer was very pleased with the design and quality of our products. He said that the clothing is breathable and allows for his sweat to evaporate quickly while being comfortable.
