What inspired you to start this business?

Four years ago, Brendan was inspired by a homily given by the Very Reverend Father Joshua Caswell, of St John Cantius Church. The homily spoke to the restoration of the sacred and how it is our duty to carry that mission outside the walls of St John Cantius and into the outside world. We felt called to fulfill that mission and began praying to find a way that we could help. Being aware of the challenges The Church will face in the coming years due to aging population and demographic change, it is clear to us that parishes will need to find new and creative means of generating financial support.

How does your faith shape your work?

Our business was founded in our faith and the call to carry the mission of the restoration of the sacred. Every decision is carefully considered and guided by our Catholic morality.

What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

Philippians 1:18 "What difference does it make, as long as in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is being proclaimed? And in that I rejoice. Indeed I shall continue to rejoice"

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

We are a private wine label company dedicated to helping the Catholic church and other local community organizations near to our hearts through partnership and charitable donations. While we are still a very young and recently established company, we have experienced great excitement from the parishioners and extended community of St John Cantius. Many people witness the amazing work that the Canons Regular of St John Cantius bring to the community and want to support that. Our partnership with them in creating Cantian Red has opened an additional avenue of support for their mission.
