Facing East Network

What inspired you to start this business?

Facing East Network was founded in response to a need recognized through twenty years of experience working in youth, family, and education ministry. Developing a way to train and develop faithful Catholic leaders beyond the limits of a four year college path through business and community support has been the vision. A love for God, family, and the larger community has been the motivation.

How does your faith shape your work?

Our vision is to be one of the catalysts for the re-Christianization of society by supporting young adults to achieve success and prosper while maintaining moral integrity and fearlessly growing Catholic culture. Our mission is to assist faithful Catholics in entering the workforce through quality paid apprenticeships and education. Understanding that formation and training involve the whole person, we insist that our businesses and the individual supervisors that our apprentices work for sign a Statement of Faith (The Nicene Creed), and a Statement Against Modernism in order to take advantage of our program. We offer the best in the formation of our students and expect nothing less from our business partners. They understand that hiring our apprentices is more than a financial benefit, but also a vocational commitment providing benefits to the apprentice, the company, and our larger community.

May the Lord enkindle in us the fire of His love and the flame of everlasting charity. Amen
