ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Knights Coffee proudly partners with the Knights of Columbus councils, an organization renowned for its unwavering commitment to fostering priestly vocations across the United States, having surpassed $100 million in financial support for seminarians, postulants, and novices through programs like the Refund Support Vocations Program (RSVP). This collaboration stems from our shared mission to empower those discerning a call to the priesthood, ensuring they can focus on their spiritual formation without the burden of financial hardships. Together, we're channeling all profits from our ethically sourced Nicaraguan coffee directly into seminarian need funds in local dioceses, amplifying the Knights' efforts to provide scholarships, refunds, and essential aid that helps cover everything from educational tools to transportation—ultimately building a stronger Church for generations to come. In the heart of 2024, amidst the rich volcanic soils of Nicaragua and the halls of seminaries across America, a vision took root. It began with a simple yet profound realization: what if the world's finest coffee could fuel not just our mornings, but the journeys of those called to a higher purpose? Thus, Knights Koffee was born, with two unwavering goals—to deliver exceptional brews straight to your cup and to raise vital funds for seminarians in need throughout the USA. We've heard many stories of seminarians who sacrifice financially to pursue their path to priesthood. When challenges arise, such as a broken laptop, a faulty phone, car repairs, worn-out tires, or lacking a vehicle for service, they may not have the resources to handle them. These men should focus on their studies and diocesan missions rather than worrying about extra income for essentials. That's where our story intersects with theirs. We partner directly with 46 Catholic coffee farms in Nicaragua, where sun-kissed beans are nurtured with care by families who share our values. From those lush hillsides, through ethical sourcing and masterful roasting, to the aromatic steam rising from your mug at home—every step creates ripples of impact. Our commitment to transparency, unparalleled quality, and bold flavors ensures that your daily ritual isn't just invigorating; it's transformative. With each purchase, you're not merely savoring amazing coffee—you're supporting seminarians nationwide, as all profits go directly to the Seminarian in Need fund in the diocese where your order is placed. And as our tale unfolds, we dream bigger: one day, extending our support to help pay off debts that might otherwise delay their ordination. Join us in this brewing adventure, where every bean tells a story of hope, resilience, and shared purpose. Your morning cup should be making an impact!

What inspired you to start this business?

There a need for a true end to end Catholic coffee brand that could provide amazing coffee, scale across the USA, while have a deep local impact.

How does your faith shape your work?

My faith is everything. As a son of God, as a husband, as a father, and as a business man, it is woven into it all.

What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

Saint Joseph is the simple answer. He is incredible. Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life? And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

You can drink amazing coffee while supporting your diocese and its seminarians. You do not have to settle for other brands.
