What inspired you to start this business?

I've always been driven to work for myself and control my own destiny. I like the idea of having something that is mine that I can either pass along to my kids or share with the community.

How does your faith shape your work?

It is the center of my ethos and how I conduct myself when doing business. Especially when making decisions whether it be the hiring process, menu changes, or navigating difficult economic challenges. My faith has always led me, we decided in 2020 to close on Sundays and prioritize Our Lord and family time above business. Another big decision was answering God's call to the Diaconate program. I am in my 3rd year as of 2026 and my Son has taken up a lot of responsibility of the Restaurant so I can pursue God's call.

What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." has given me the courage to show up day in day out since 2002. Padre Pio is one of my favorite saints and has intercede for my in my journey in the Diaconate.

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

We help our clients by making sure they have a great experience either dining in, or ordering take out via online, or catering to their next family function, weddings, business meetings, etc. We also help them get connected with parishes in town or buying religious articles or bibles from our in store gift shop. Our restaurant is located in a heavy Latino area and has become a cornerstone in our community. Not only within the Hispanic circles but also the Catholic circles as we are close to St. Rita and Guardian Angels. Two of our parishes where we worship, fellowship, and break bread together. Our clients love when we cater their events and boys from our parish come over after bible studies or weekday mass.
