ABOUT THE BUSINESS
MEET THE OWNER

What inspired you to start this business?
Temporally speaking, I began taking courses to become a bookkeeper because my husband has health issues such that he won't always be our primary breadwinner; I needed a way to make a livable income to support our family. That said, I also truly appreciate being able to help others with something I wasn't previously able to do for myself - something I know is a serious challenge to many business owners, whether it's due to understanding or merely having the bandwidth to deal with it; I know how it feels to be in those shoes. With bookkeeping I can genuinely help people in a meaningful way, and that's a critical point for me.
How does your faith shape your work?
First and foremost, my mom really ingrained in me the crux of "do small things with great love." She didn't phrase it that way, but every time I helped her as a child and into my teen years, she let me know how much she appreciated it...even if it was something "small," it was a significant help to her. Combining that with St. Therese's Little Way and the Practice of the Presence of God, and you can have a very prayerful work life...offering it for my family, my clients, their mission/intentions, etc.
What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?
My patron saint is St. Raphael the Archangel - he's an amazing friend to have; highly recommend! 💖 From Philippians 2:9-11 "Therefore God has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow - in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue proclaim, to the glory of God the Father, Jesus Christ is Lord."
What's one thing you'd like customers to know?
I genuinely care about their business and understand what is at stake - whether they are for-profit or non-profit...everything from how they are serving their clients/customers, their families, their employees' financial well-being, etc.
DEVOTIONAL

Our Lady of Sorrows ~ Pray for us!
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
