Avila Castillo Architecture

What inspired you to start this business?

I started Avila Castillo Architecture with a desire to create beautiful places that make a difference in people’s lives. Whether it’s a home, a business, or a church, architecture shapes how we live and relate to one another. I wanted to build a practice where creativity, craftsmanship, and service come together with purpose.

How does your faith shape your work?

My Catholic faith shapes how I see people and the responsibility of designing for them. Every person has dignity, and the spaces we create should honor that. It also calls me to practice honesty, stewardship, and care in our relationships with clients and collaborators. I see architecture as an opportunity to serve others and reflect something of God’s beauty.

What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

There are so many who are dear to me, but Saint John Paul II, Padre Pio, and Saint Joseph hold a special place in my heart. I also think of mentors who have passed away and who I believe have interceded for me. Their example and prayers continue to inspire how I live, lead, and serve others through my work.

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

We understand how personal it is to entrust someone with your home, business, or place of worship. We take time to listen, understand your vision, and guide you through the process. Our goal is to create something beautiful and practical that serves you well for years to come.
