Compass Catholic Ministries

What inspired you to start this business?

We were struggling with our finances and that led to great tension within our marriage. As we studied the Bible, we could see that if we faithfully followed what we learned, we might repair our financial mess and strengthen our marriage at the same time. Which we did! Twenty years after that first Bible study we were able to retire from paid jobs and become full-time volunteers to serve God in ministry in the unique way that He called us.

How does your faith shape your work?

Faith encompasses the totality of our ministry. Without our Catholic faith, the Scriptures, Magisterium and Tradition of the Church, our ministry would not exist.

What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

"Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father." -Matthew 5:16

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

Our Bible studies help people implement an authentically Catholic approach to money and possessions so they stay on the right path (living our lives here on earth as stewards of God's blessings) and arrive at the desired destination (life with Christ forever). We have seen marriages saved from pending divorce due to financial issues, and families eliminate debt to be able to serve God in their own ways.
