Joyful Mysteries

What inspired you to start this business?

The Holy Spirit. My own Catholic faith was subpar at best and this idea kept coming up. I realized there was so much I didn't know about our faith and it was time for a change.

How does your faith shape your work?

It's everything. From the music we play, watching daily mass, the items that we offer all reflect our Catholic faith. We are unique in that we have a second business (a nutrition club) inside of our shop. We are a witness to many non-Catholics who come in to enjoy one of our drinks and end up staying to browse and sometimes ask questions.

What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

Our Lady of Guadalupe. St. Josemaria Escriva

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

We want to help our customers share their Catholic faith and not be afraid to put it on display. Whether they are looking for a gift for someone or in need of an item for themselves, we want to make sure that it brings them closer to Jesus. Since starting our business, we have hosted multiple book clubs in our shop. We've had up to 30 women participating at one time and it's such a beautiful walk because we have women of all ages and in all seasons of life who participate. We've even had some non-Catholics participate. By bringing this group of women together, we've been able to share wisdom, struggles, joys and sorrows amongst each other.
