Sweet Rustic Faith

What inspired you to start this business?

I loved doing art as a teenager. Through the years I have used many mediums (paper, fabric, glass, clay, wood) to express my creative side. I have always sold my work, but only started the LLC a few years ago, when I realized that it was more than a hobby - It had become a mission to use ALL that God had given me to fulfill a calling I had since I was a teenager to "illustrate' reminders of God's love in functional items.

How does your faith shape your work?

I believe that I am using the gifts that God has given me to spread devotion to Him and to give Him glory. Whatever I make, is with the intention of bringing the recipient of that item, closer to Him. It is one of the ways I serve God and answer His call to follow Him.

What's a favorite patron saint or scripture?

Every one to whom much is given, of him will much be required; and of him to whom men commit much they will demand the more" Luke 12:48

What's one thing you'd like customers to know?

Most of the items I create are made with the intention of reminding people of who they were called to be. My goal is to put Jesus everywhere. I provide my customers with extraordinary custom handcrafted gifts when "ordinary" is not enough. The most recent comment someone has made was remarking to others that they had purchased one of my little rosary hangers and how they used it every night, and how they loved knowing where it was on the wall to be always able to reach for their rosary in the dark of the night.
