Jadeite in this green is the color of moss on stone — deep, quiet, and subtly translucent at the edges when the light finds it. Cut into generous 10 mm Our Father beads and framed in ornate bronze bead caps, each one anchors its decade like a small, polished world. Around them, warm 8 mm graywood Hail Mary beads carry the natural grain of the timber, darkening gracefully with years of prayer in the hand.
Every rosary I make begins at the bead table — sourcing strands for color and grain, matching accents, and settling the colorway before a single knot is tied. Each decade is strung on durable black micro cord and knotted by hand between all 59 beads, a slow and deliberate process that gives the strand its shape and means it won't shed beads even if the cord is ever compromised.
At the center sits a bronze-tone Miraculous Medal, the traditional Marian devotional medal, and at the foot of the rosary a crucifix finished in rich green patina — verdigris settled into the recesses of the corpus and scrollwork while the raised figures hold a warmer glow. The effect is ancient and garden-like: the patina echoes the jadeite, and the bronze warms the whole.
