Our Lady of the Bowed Head

The original of this painting was found in a trash heap in 1610 by the Carmelite monk Venerable Dominic of Jesus and Mary. The painting is celebrated for its promise, "Those who implore my protection, devoutly honoring this picture, will obtain their petitions." The original image is still venerated today at the Carmelite Church (Karmelitenkirche) located in Döbling, on the outskirts of Vienna, Austria. Each piece is reproduced on canvas, individually enhanced and framed in a museum-quality frame.
