Handcrafted corded rosary dedicated to St. George, the patron saint of courage and protector against evil. Features light and dark graywood beads, black lava stone accents, and rust-colored 95 paracord. Finished with bronze accents, a bronze tone Miraculous Medal, and a bronze tone Three-Way Pardon Crucifix.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." — Joshua 1:9
"O glorious St. George, valiant champion of the Faith, obtain for us the grace to conquer the dragon of sin, and to fight bravely under the banner of Christ our King, that we may be found worthy to share His eternal crown." — Prayer to St. George
Design Notes: This rosary features a firm, structured construction due to the snug fit of the graywood bead holes on the cord. Initially, the beads may move with some resistance, but with regular use the cord will gently wear and the beads will become easier to slide, allowing the rosary to "break in" and feel more fluid over time. This offers a solid, grounded feel during prayer that evolves into a comfortable, personalized drape.
Details:
Hail Mary beads: Alternating light and dark graywood (intentional color variation)
Accent beads: Black lava stone
Cord: Rust-colored 95 paracord
Accents: Bronze tone
Centerpiece: Bronze tone Miraculous Medal (slightly warmer tone)
Crucifix: Bronze tone Three-Way Pardon Crucifix (slightly cooler tone)
Note: The slight variation in bronze tones between the medal and crucifix adds a unique, hand-forged vintage character, reminiscent of ancient battle gear.
Measurements:
Total length: Approximately 17" to 20" depending on rosary requirements.
Crucifix: Approximately 2"
Please note: Each rosary is handmade. The natural variations in graywood and lava stone ensure no two are exactly alike. Due to the snug fit of the bead holes on the cord, this rosary starts with a structured feel but will gradually soften with use, becoming more flexible as the beads settle.
